Typology sought to strengthen its position as a premium skincare brand while staying true to its minimalist identity and brand values. With visual guidelines evolving, the challenge was to develop a visual direction that could flex across digital and social platforms without losing impact.
The creative solution focused on building a system that felt refined yet relatable—balancing clarity and warmth to reflect the integrity of the brand and its formulas. By interpreting core values through a considered art direction, the outcome reinforced Typology’s distinct tone of voice while helping define a visual framework that could grow with the brand.

INSIDE THE PROCESS

To reflect Typology’s minimalist ethos, I envisioned a visual language rooted in softness and clarity—light backdrops in white tones created an elevated yet approachable feel across all media.
Lighting was diffused but directional enough to introduce natural gradients and depth, adding dimension without feeling clinical. Compositions were kept intentional, using golden and silver ratios to create balance and visual rhythm.
Raw materials like fruits, flowers, and textured surfaces brought a tactile quality to the sets—highlighting simplicity without over-styling.
Casting focused on diversity and real skin: no heavy makeup, just fresh textures and authentic representation. Every detail was designed to echo Typology’s honest, pared-back values.
