ZARA HOME
EDITORIAL DESIGN & ART DIRECTION

Zara Home’s SS Edition collection drew inspiration from the quiet elegance of natural materials, calling for a visual direction that could capture its organic essence while elevating the brand’s identity. The challenge was to translate this into a catalogue concept that aligned with Zara Home’s commitment to understated luxury and timeless design.
The creative solution focused on developing an art direction and design system that felt warm, tactile, and editorial—bringing the collection’s materiality to the forefront through considered compositions and atmospheric storytelling. The result was a cohesive narrative that reinforced the brand’s aesthetic while offering a refreshed visual expression for the season.

INSIDE THE PROCESS

From the outset, the collection’s emphasis on untreated materials and organic finishes shaped the direction of the art direction. I wanted to preserve that purity across every visual touchpoint—letting the materials speak for themselves through warm, diffused lighting, tactile close-ups, and spaces that felt intimate but also refined.
To extend the narrative beyond photography, we designed a capsule brand magazine to accompany the collection. Drawing inspiration from Swiss editorial principles, the layout emphasised clean structures, balanced white space, and an honest, minimal tone—mirroring the values of the collection in a printed form.
It became both a design object and a storytelling tool, reinforcing the sensory world built around the collection.
